The workload is starting to grow heavier for me though I am keeping up fairly well.  I made some progress on my next drapery project, no pictures this time around since I feel that was a little redundant.  Plenty of drawing today as I sketched out a quick set of thumbnails or sloppy story-boarding for an assignment involving visually telling a story in 10 photographs.  For that storytelling assignment he gave us the guidance to only use 10 seconds per frame so they are quite sloppy and merely express the framing of the shot.

MPT BoardingAlso today I drew up an entire storyboard hastily for yet another animation project coming up, this one is due in two weeks so I have a little breathing room.  I edited it into an animatic with filler sounds to convey the idea to my collaborator.  The frames were drawn in Photoshop and I managed everything with layers to quickly push out a pre-vis.

Lastly for tonight I composited my passes on my western style 3d model of a mill.  This project has been fairly fun and frustrating at times due to my drive to “one up” every aspect of it.  On the first week I had already essentially finished the assignment due a week from now so everything I have been doing is above and beyond the required amount.  Ideally I will have some solid rendering on my final pass with working dynamics and splendid caustics passing light off the waters movement onto the building to showcase the texturing (maybe even displacement mapping if I get too crazy)
